Tax-exempt where it qualifies.
B2B isn't automatically tax-exempt. We review documentation before applying an exemption to an eligible purchase.
Which documents apply?
Share business registration or a current business license to help us verify your business. For qualifying Illinois resale purchases, include a completed Certificate of Resale (CRT-61) or equivalent valid documentation. Other exemptions need their applicable supporting documents.
Contractors who permanently install cabinets into real estate are generally the end users of those materials. A resale certificate alone does not exempt those purchases.
An eligible resale exemption avoids sales tax at the sourcing stage; tax collection obligations may still apply at resale. General information, not tax advice—confirm with your tax professional.
